Course Description

In today’s competitive global market, students need more than a strong academic qualification to achieve their potential as a graduate. They need to be equipped as well with the latest skills and competencies of their learning experience to boost their employability opportunities.

Higher Education Institutions are obliged to redesign their academic system to fill the skills’ gap between employers and the academic programs and integrate job-relevant competencies into the curriculum in order to ensure graduates have the knowledge and skills that are needed in today’s workforce. This course provides information about the education to employability proactive practices as well as how to ensure that the knowledge and competencies seeked by employers are incorporated into the curricula.

Outlines

It will take approximately 8 hours to complete the course and explores the new trends of adopting the higher education to be more applied and support the students to find their career path and find more opportunities for jobs and employability.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Muqsit

Walter is a Research Data Scientist at Intel Corporation, where he has worked in many roles in his 22+ years with the company. Currently he is working on high-value business problems where they attempt to predict the future using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques; oftentimes needing to develop their own algorithms to be successful.
